Councillor Elliott's 2027-2030 Budget Survey

Complete my budget survey and share your feedback. Edmonton City Council will set the City’s four-year budget for 2027–2030 before the end of 2026, and I want to hear from you.

I recognize that continued tax increases place an increasing burden on Edmonton taxpayers. I believe we need to take a careful look at how we can continue to deliver the services residents rely on while being responsible and disciplined with taxpayers’ dollars.

I have developed a four-year budget survey to understand better what matters most to you, my constituents. The survey asks about the City services that are important to you, your views on taxes, priorities for the Capital Budget, and several questions specific to our ward.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable because the budget involves choices. We are a city with limited resources, and we need to make thoughtful decisions about where those resources are directed. As we consider new initiatives and projects, I am committed to ensuring that proposals are financially responsible and demonstrate a clear benefit and return on investment for residents.

I strongly encourage you to take the survey and share it with your neighbours, friends and others in our community. Your views and feedback will help me better understand the priorities of the residents I represent and how I can best advocate for our community throughout the budget process.

A note when completing the survey:

After the neighbourhood question, a pop-up may appear. Please press the “X” on the pop-up to close it and continue to the next question.

If you experience difficulty completing the survey, please ensure you are not using a private or incognito browser window and that cookies are enabled in your browser. The survey will remain open for several weeks. My office will communicate the closing date once it is confirmed to ensure you have an opportunity to complete the survey before it closes.

Following the closure of the survey, we will share the results through a newsletter. I will also be hosting a hybrid town hall before budget deliberations begin. More details about the town hall will be shared in the coming weeks.

Thank you for taking the time to share your priorities and help inform the budget conversation.
