2027-2030 Budget Survey

Edmonton City Council will set the City’s four-year budget for 2027–2030 before the end of 2026. At this time, the proposed budget framework includes tax increases in each of the four years. I recognize that continued tax increases place an increasing burden on Edmonton taxpayers, and we must carefully consider how we can deliver the services residents rely on while remaining fiscally responsible. I have developed the survey below to better understand which core services and programs are most important to you—the constituents I represent. The survey also includes several questions specific to our ward to help identify local priorities and concerns. As we consider new initiatives and service packages, I am committed to ensuring that proposals are financially responsible and demonstrate a clear return on investment. Where a project can generate new revenue or reduce long-term costs, I am more open to considering that investment. At this time, we must be particularly mindful of affordability and the long-term financial sustainability of our city. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your priorities.
